THE ET FILLE STORY

A winery named “and daughter”

Howard Mozeico began making wine in his garage in 1984. In 2003, he and his daughter, Jessica, threw in their corporate ID badges and co-founded Et Fille to make wine together. Howard died in 2017 and Jessica continues as the sole winemaker, inspired by her father’s legacy and daughter’s future.

“As a winery, we are inevitably tied to our land, seasons, and community- it is our responsibility to leave them in a better place for our children.”

-Jessica Mozeico, President and Winemaker

As Seen In

Et Fille 2021 Kalita Vineyard Pinot Noir:

“The 2021 Kalita Pinot Noir from Et Fille was my favorite of the lineup. A gorgeous shimmering medium neon ruby-purple core with a lighter pink rim, it pops with aromas of red and black cherries, crushed ripe marionberries, fennel fronds, toasted spice, and cedary herbs. I loved how the wine moved across the entire palate on the finish, with its sweet, smooth tannins and perfected acidity.” -95 Points, International Wine Report

Et Fille 2021 Gabriella Pinot Noir:

“Named for the winemaker's daughter, Gabriella is the top Cuvée each vintage, with the 2021 vintage coming from Le Pavillon and Fairsing. The higher percentage of newer oak, at 66%. The goal of the Gabriella is ageability, so whole cluster and new oak are typically turned up, but only 13% whole cluster in the 2021. Rich, turned earth, ripe cherry flesh, and subtle clove spices.—aromatics of white pepper, green tea leaves and spiced dried blood orange.” 95 Points, Decanter

Et Fille 2023 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot Noir:

“A bright medium red hue, the 2023 Pinot Noir Fairsing Vineyard comes from an exposed site planted in 2006 and featuring the Wadensvil clone. It opens to notes of pomegranate, roses, rocky earth, and fresh herbs, and it’s medium-bodied on the palate, with even, ripe tannins, mouthwatering saltiness, and a sanguine, savory feel, although it remains pure all the way through. Drink 2025-2045.” 96 Points, Jeb Dunnuck

Et Fille 2023 Gabriella Pinot Noir:

“A jeweled ruby hue, the 2023 Pinot Noir Gabriella is a blend of three sites (Le Pavillon, Fairsing, and Deux Vert) and is designed to age gracefully. In this vintage, it was aged for 20 months in 66% new French oak. It opens to a layered perfume of sweet clove, raspberries, and violets. It’s medium to full-bodied, with velvety tannins, a long, elegant finish, and an even and generous feel at this youthful stage that will start to reveal more savory notes as it matures. Set this one aside and drink 2027-2047.” 96 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
