2016 Gabriella Pinot Noir

2016 Gabriella Pinot Noir

The Gabriella Pinot Noir was born as our grand cru bottling in honor of Jessica’s daughter, Gabriella, to be enjoyed on her 21st birthday, a French tradition that the family adopted. Since then, the goal of the Gabriella Pinot Noir is to create a wine of strength that is intended to age with complexity, refinement, and grace. The serious nose with rose petal, blackberry, and spice is followed by a structured and contemplative texture accented with minerality. It is comprised of three special lots, whole cluster for tannin complexity, and a higher than usual percentage of new oak for longevity.
