Ratings of Our 2007 Vintage
2007 Et Fille Kalita Vineyard Pinot Noir:
2009 Portland Indie Wine Festival Selection
Wine Spectator - 90....."This is lively, with mouthwatering acidity supporting strawberry, raspberry and floral aromas and flavors, lingering prettily on the finish. Drink now through 2013."
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar - 91.... "Light red. Black raspberry, potpourri and cinnamon on the nose. Sweet, palate-staining red and dark berry flavors are strikingly juicy and pure, with a tangy mineral quality adding urgency. Blends depth and energy smoothly, finishing with excellent focus and sappy persistence."
PinotFile Exceptional Quality (Pinot Geek): "The most perfumed of the 2007 lineup showing scents of dark red cherries and red plums, red roses and a hint of oak. Delicious dark cherry bombast with accents of spice, brioche, pepper and toast. The tannins are gossamer and the cherry aromas linger endlessly on the teasing finish. This beauty has a gentle richness that is very sensual."

Portland Monthly Magazine, Sept. 2009: Oregon's 50 Best Wines, #10 "Scented of blackberries, with the delicacy of the 2007 vintage and the rich black fruits of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, this wine speaks particularly well of its time and place of origin."
The Best of Wines, Oregon Pinot Report 2009 "This was the first truly special wine. Delicate, balanced, like a ballerina. Feminine wine. Seductive."
Internet Wine Merchant Specializing in Northwest Wines: "enthralling, and our favorite Kalita to date. Imagine carrying a glass of your favorite Pinot noir while walking through a pristine old growth forest- that's what the 07 Kalita smells like. Ripe, bright berry fruit flavors mingle pleasingly with creamy, nutty tannins. The initial impression of sweet fruit leads to an intriguing savory element of wild mushroom. The Kalita 07 is unique and unforgettable."

2007 Et Fille Wines Maresh Vineyard
PinotFile- Lovely deep cherry aromas show great purity. A touch of alcohol peeks out on the nose. Modest in power but delivering plenty of juicy red cherries and berries that are nicely complimented by Asian spices. Very smooth and elegant, building in intensity with time in the glass. This wine may ultimately top the Kalita. If you drink it now, spend some time with it."

The Best of Wines.com: "it has all the elegance and restraint we associate with this winemaking team. Their wines are high-toned meaning they strive for something more than pure and ripe fruit or even terroir. You can find some ting extra in Et Fille wines. Maybe something ethereal, dainty, divine, sublime and subtle ... This wine has it... this is the magician's wine."

2007 Et Fille Wines Willamette Valley
PinotFile- Recession Buster "Cherries, strawberries, roasted nuts and oak char on the nose. Tasty fruit flavors of red cherries, cranberries and strawberries with a little mocha in the background. Tannins are nicely managed and the whole package is very clean and refreshing. A dependable Pinot for mealtimes.
