We love blending Pinot Noir from multiple vineyards. This process epitomizes the confluence of art and science. We use our scientific backgrounds to begin with an analytic hypothesis-driven approach, but our love of art takes over once we start engaging our senses and letting the combinations take us in surprising directions. Our goal with this blend is to allow the complexity of the Willamette Valley to reveal itself in an honest representation of the vintage. Prior vintages have been rated a 90 by Wine Spectator and have been awarded Gold in the Oregon Wine Awards.

Dad: Big nose of blackberry and dark cherry. Ripe raspberry, plum, and anise on palate. Minerals with a steely edge.

Fille: This wine makes me think of Justin Timberlake- it is an attention getting performer with talent, range, and yet is accessible. The cherry nose is accented by pencil shavings, earthiness, and rose petal, while the palate displays hints of Meyer Lemon and slate. It has that perfect black pants quality- it can dress up whatever it is paired with and last for years.
